Came for my husband birthday but the food was lacking. The server was too slow and I repeated for many things and was never provided and had to ask a different server. Water was always out and the server only checked on us once. Spent over $325 here. Will not come back
The waitress had too many tables and we waited 15 minutes before saying something to a manager as no one came to offer us a drink and take our order. Then we had a drink order mixed up and the main course meal was mixed up and we were brought something else. We will not be back to this location.
Our waiter messed up our order which is okay things happen. But the noise was unbearable, having to yell to talk to my partner right beside me is very annoying. Along side that the salmon with mashed potatoes for $36 was a very tiny portion. I left absolutely starving (I am a bigger male with a bigger appetite but I don’t leave restaurants hungry 9 times out of 10). Really enjoyed our first experience there but had a different one the second time around
First time there- we won’t be back. Poor value for money. At their price point, Service and food were not up to par. Very very mid.

It is disheartening to see that despite Canada’s economic downturn resulting in a scarcity of minimum wage jobs, JOEY Coquitlam still maintains their rock bottom hiring bar. We waited an hour for our food while our server, Alyssa (or Alissa/Elissa), socialized with coworkers and watched the hockey game. The drinking water was terrible. I've tasted better water in Los Angeles. That's my only complaint. Seem like right from a garden hose. Try it you will see !

They served us some tainted water at the start and then decided to cover our apps for the gross water, after we get the bill and nothing was taken off. After I paid and left a tip they gave me a 20 dollar voucher . Pretty lame if you ask me.

We’ve been to JOEY Restaurants many times and usually enjoy it, which is why the last few visits have been disappointing. I initially assumed previous issues were due to the holiday season, but last night confirmed that service pacing and coordination are ongoing problems.
