Waited 15 minutes before someone came and told us the servicer was really busy so she would get us started and get us drinks, then waited for another 15 minutes before i had to ask the manager where our drinks were. He apologized, brought our drinks and took our order. My friends and I have been coming to Joeys for many years. Have always had a good experience. My concern is less food at a much higher price. For example the size of the salmon (at least 25% less but the price is 35% higher. My spaghetti ponadore used to have a huge amount topped of fancy cheese on top, last night it was nonexistent but of course the price was higher. Less for more. We usually visit Joey s at Coquitlam only because of excellent service provided by a server named Brent . However this time we got someone else and she didn't serve us water till we asked for it , no butter was provided with the steak and lobster order and then when we asked for the butter we were told there is an extra charge , this was not on the first 2 cases when we dinned in consecutively on Saturday and the next day Sunday . We had a 5:15 reservation for our child’s birthday but weren’t seated until 5:30. From there, everything was painfully slow, drinks took 30 minutes, food service dragged, and dessert didn’t arrive until so late the kids were too tired to eat it. We didn’t finish and pay until 8:00, turning a simple birthday dinner into a three-hour ordeal. We were to have two servers in an apparent means to provide better service but neither were attentive. It took a long time for our orders to be taken, the weee “out of” the white wine I ordered (took 10+ mins) to let me know, I made a different selection and was then after another 15 mins was told they had to replace some contraption for the wine. My daughter had her drink by this time and our food so I canceled. The young blonde waitresses were huffy and rude. Would not go back to this location.

poor services. We had a reservation for 6, waited for 15 mins for 5 cups of water . No one comes by so we finally got the 6th cup for another 15mins after we asked. No water refill during the whole meal. The server collected our unfinished dishes without asking.

Service was interestingly slow considering there were more people working than dining when we arrived just before 430pm. We had to wait almost 10 mins before a host acknowledged our arrival. Burger and fries were good. We had to get our lettuce wraps remade as they were drenched in sauce--they apologized and made them right, which was appreciated. All food came at the same time. Ordered appetizers and main course and everything was delivered to the table at the same time. By the time we got to the main course I was luke warm. this is not the first time this has happened at this location. Staff should be trained to submit orders properly so that all food does not arrive at the same time UNLESS requested by the customer.
