I was served fish tacos. I am a vegetarian and ate a piece of fish thinking it was cauliflower. The restaurant staff didn’t care. Beware any vegetarians out there - customer service was extremely disappointing
We came for lunch and it took over 2 hrs. Food was very slow to come, server had trouble finding manager for specific menu questions. Food was good, server was hard to find when needed.
Unfortunately, this was not a good experience at all. The service and overall experience fell short.
Very disappointed in this Joey location. We expected to wait on a Saturday night for dinner but after almost an hour of waiting for our meals the manager finally came out and said they were just being plated and would be out in 2 min. ~10 min later we FINALLY got our meals which were lukewarm at best. The server, while very friendly, was absent for most of the dinner. Aside from waiting a long time for a table even though we had a reservation, we expressed we had theatre and needed to be out within an hour. The waitress said she felt we would be there approx 45 min. However we waited over 45 min just to get our food and that was after asking to speak to someone. When the food finally arrived we had no time to eat as we had to leave for the theatre. A very disappointing experience.
Had a 6pm reservation but didn’t get seated until 6:20. Service was very slow. Ordered the burger to split with my friend. It was very tasty until my second bite when I pulled out a very long hair that had been baked into the meat. Needless to say we had already waited so long I wasn't about to ask for a new one. We had somewhere to be. The hosts and our server were lovely and very hard working. They deserve all the praise!
For a non-busy day, it took prompting the staff 20 minutes after seating to take our order. Our food didn't arrive for another 45 minutes.
The notion of a french beef dip with jus was somewhat disappointing as it was a very small piece of baguette (1/2 an inch by 1 1/2 inch) with 2 small pieces of over done beef for a fairly high price tag ($14.00 for 2 pieces) with the beef slices (2 on each slice of bread about 1/8 inch thick) open faced ie no top of the bread.
