Just as sat down in lounge area the lighting was lowered and the DJ started, it was to dark and music was just a bit to loud. Eventually went moved to the patio

Can’t believe this dinner experience we had. Service was so bad. Servers can’t do their job the way other restaurants take care of patrons. Bartenders drinking while on shift, managers opening wine bottle for servers because they don’t know how, can’t bring simple water to the table, cutlery, napkins …had to ask for this every time. Alexandra was our server. Very friendly. Great service. However the sushi was way below average at best. $20 ??? I could have eaten at Takis sushi for half the price and it would have been wayyyy better

Food Great service great. Noise level unacceptable! Way too loud. Hard to visit with clients or guests. If you want a wild night club atmosphere this is the place for you! If you want fine dining in a quiet setting this is definitely not for you! With the new Reno they have opened the bar area with no way to contain the noise from the bar and television area. So sad. Nice place but management has not figured out who they want to cater too! Perhaps it is the younger crowd. Definitely not for fine dining!

Had to have my steak redone for my steak frites. The plate came super hot (the salad was hot!) but the steak was barely lukewarm, so cool that the compound butter on top just sat there. They did remake my steak and I ate it, but by the time the steak came my family had basically finished eating.
Noise level was very high . Had a lot of children running around and loud .

First time we have had a not so great experience at Joeys in Kelowna. The service was average at best. The food was below average, our rib eye steak was full of fat cap and gristle, our friends Cajun chicken had bones and gristle. The worst was the bartender didn’t know what he was doing, super inconsistent Old Fashioned’s one was good the next was so sweet. We have been long-time customers of Joeys. We love the food and the ambience was quiet and you could have a good conversation with each other and friends. With the renovation, we now find the music too loud and with the bar being open, the noise level has increased significantly. So sad because the quieter ambience was which drew us to Joeys when making a decision on a restaurant.
Never followed up with us on why we were dining there. Was wife’s birthday which she didn’t ask about until the bill came after we had ordered desserts. Never followed up during meal to ask how things were. Never got a drink refill until meal was done. Really disappointed with how much the bill was.
