Went on Wine Wednesday and was very disappointed with my experience this time. Not only was our waitress quite rude, but we were also charged full price for a couple bottles of wine on the day where this place promotes HALF priced bottles on Wednesdays. PSA: Make sure to check your receipt before paying!
Our server was not very nice and not attentive! Almost as if she didn’t want to serve us.
It was ok Pretty good service but there was a pull where no one came for about 20 mins and we had empty drinks . Unlucky timing. Manager came 2x to check and acknowledge that we were there for a bday which is Great but nothing came from that. I’ve been to restaurants where I pay the same amount of money for my bill but the celebrated ppl get a drink or a desert. Nothing tonight. My steak was severely undercooked. My server refilled our water once. He never came back. He didn’t even give us our food. Someone else did.
Way too loud sitting inside, could hardly hear the person across the table and service was very slow from drinks to food. Steak was cooked poorly, too stringy and chewy compared to other places serving the same dish

I have wrote maybe 3 reviews in my life. I ate at Joey Rideau a few weeks ago and it was amazing service. First time at Joey Landsdowne and it started with not getting spoken to for about 30 minutes and when a person in our 7 person table tried to make contact with a waitress, she gave him attitude asking him “are you ok.” When he told her we were ready to order drinks she told us she wasn’t are waitress and passed it along to one of the 6 or 7 managers standing around. Closer to the end of our dinner, our server asked us if we wanted another round, and we said yes. After the drinks arrived, she came back and asked if we needed anything else, and we said no, we could settle up when it was convenient for her. Given we just received our drinks we weren't in a rush. Shortly after we settled (and provided good tips), a hostess came to our table and told us we had four minutes to leave as there was another reservation. I love Joey Landsdownne - have been many times for lunch. This was my first time for dinner and it provided an experience below expectation. Service was strange... food was not as good as it was at lunch (presentation, temperature, taste). I will 100% eat here again, but probably only at lunchtime. Not sure what the cause was for such a difference?
