We had one of the most inattentive rude servers we’ve ever experienced. She never came back to check on us to ask if we wanted more drinks or to top up our water or if we wanted or need anything else
When we ask for less ice, they give us a half the drink. Instead of adding more juice to an $18 drink they said no it will taste different. That's ridiculous. We are paying for 1 shot of vodka what difference would it make to add juice. The server barely came to the table she was too busy at the bar chatting with other servers. We made a reservation for seven person at 5 o’clock. We usually meet 3 to 4 times a year at Joey’s with some friends who live quite a bit away. As soon as we got there, we were informed that we could only stay for two hours because they booked our table again at 7 o’clock. Ordered the steak and sushi, the steak was cold, sushi was good. I did not have the opportunity to advise the server about the steak as she did not return to ask how the food was. This was a disappointing experience as I have been to this restaurant several times expecting level of quality control.

They only gave us 2 hours for a group of 8 people. We all ordered mains and a few bottles of wine. We received our main courses 30 minutes before we had to leave. The servers were trying to take our plates every 2 minutes while we were still eating and it was obvious. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the dinner and wine - all was very rushed and unpleasant. Very slow service. Waited 30 mins at the table before drink order was taken. 45 mins before drinks arrived. Food was great but a poor experience.

Service was very efficient and friendly. Our appetizers were delicious but our steak was mediocre at best. Could barely cut into it and although having asked for medium rare it was rare and full of gristle. We were compensated with a drink but would have been nice to have the steak compensated.

We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived.
