My furnace stopped working g on Sunday and tech cameout Monday (Kyle). He diagnosed the problem and needed to order a mother board. He returned Thursday and was fast at work when I got home. Kyle is professional, a good technican, and worked hard to get my furnace up and running.

New home owner here with a bad string of luck as of late. Thanks to Marlon (tech # 86) that streak has ended! He was personable, kind, VERY helpful(cannot stress that enough) and was able to explain my propane heating situation to me on a level that made sense (much appreciated). This was my first interaction with John Ray and son’s service and I will say if Marlon is the standard for techs/employees then you all have a new long time customer with me, my wife and our new house. After 5 service calls and no heat for 4 days we finally got a service tech that knows his business. Cason is the tech thst came to our home to “cleanup” the mess left by the other two techs that John Ray had sent. When you need service on your furnace we suggest you request Cason Tech 097 you will not be sorry. Pay attention John Ray and Sons you’ve got a good man working for you ….keep him…that’s who we will request from now on. Robert and Susan Herr, Schaghticoke, NY

Astute accurate diagnosis by their employee which addressed and resolved the problem by inspecting the mechanism correctly and removing a clog rather than unnecessarily replacing a part. So I appreciate his skill and action which saved me money.

Lisa Doyle is our contact when ordering an oil delivery from John Ray and Sons. Lisa's proficiency and acumen is outdistanced only by her professional, yet personal and friendly, attention to detail in her fulfilling our needs, every time without exception. We have switched to COD through John Ray a couple years ago after having a terrible time with another local oil company. I have had an amazing experience with Lisa setting up my deliveries. She even hooked me up with a great service guy since ours would never show up. I would highly recommend them!

I just had a delivery today (2/18/25). I wanted to share that the driver (who I was told was Billy B.) was so very nice and appreciated me coming outside to thank him for our delivery and more importantly willing to tackle the icy driveway and ice covered snow. You have very good employees - this also includes the girls in the office!! Always very helpful.

My son has John Ray for fuel oil and servicing his furnace. When he is working, I go to his house. My experience with the office was professional and personable handling my request in a timely manner. My experience with Vinny the service tech was knowledgeable, professional and personable. In my opinion, John Ray office and service tech Vinny deserve a five-star rating. Elaine
