I had the best possible outcome with my total right hip replacement surgery. Dr. Balch provided great pre and post op care. I was able to ask questions easily throughout the entire experience which kept my anxiety low and my optimism high. He listened carefully to my needs. I would definitely recommend Dr. Balch and his team at SCOI. My appointments have been on time, very informative and everyone has been very professional. The day of my surgery was amazing, the team was very helpful and Dr. Balch explained everything very well. The computer program used to stay in touch with patients is excellent. I never felt abandoned during the most challenging healing times. There is daily contact and recommendations to keep oneself healthy and well. The immediate response from the Dr. and or his assistance is remarkable. Thank you!

I speak from experience with other doctors in this field Dr. Balch and his team are patient and kind. He explains everything in detail. Answers all your questions with clarity. I trust him 100% and I am one of those people that are not too terribly fond of going to the doctor. I tend to get nervous and panic. I never feel that way with Dr. Balch and his team. Something that is important to me as well is that he actually has a sense of humor!...I like that.

Good communication and follow ups while starting the whole process
Dr B has done 5 surgeries on me now and I will not see ANYONE else! Ever! He is ahead of anything that comes up and proactive about intervening when a symptom appears. I’ve had complications w all surgeries due to an autoimmune disorder and he not only is knowledgeable about this disorder but has taken extra steps to prevent those specific complications, which has worked! I’m so grateful!
