Great information about surgery
I chose Dr Balch for my procedure specifically because he performed the same kind of hip replacement on her. That was 3 years ago and she has not had one issue. My visits with him are timely, punctual, and focused. He reviewed my X-rays, CT, etc with me and showed me areas of concern. He gave me options to address my issues. Dr. Balch is an excellent doctor who seriously cares for his patients. I had to have both hips replaced due to degenerative arthritis. Dr Balch explained the process to me and reassured me that he’d walk me through the recovery period I consented to have both surgeries. Dr. Balch and his staff were wonderful and within two weeks of both surgeries I was up and walking without a device with minimal physical therapy. Dr Balch Did my right knee replacement in 2022 he used the mako robotic everyone that has had knee replacement that I know didn't get the robotic where they lived so I wasn't to sure about it but Balch explained to me the difference and I am so glad I listened to him..the scarring was minimal the healing was faster Dr Balch did my left knee in November 2023 and again I am so glad I went with him and his team no regrets I am writing this 2 weeks after surgery can bend knee at 95 already..it's a painful experience but worth it... read more

The extreme dedication in keeping the patient informed on the necessary requirement for doing suggested PT at home along with PT scheduled appointments at SCOI,also how am I doing in my recovery,pain level, sleeping,movement of surgical leg (knee) ect in keeping my health & recovery the top priority.
