Yep, it's Katz's deli, very similar menu from the Houston Street location in New York. If it's your first visit to Katz, go with the "Klassic" pastrami on rye, it's the sandwich they are known for.

I love this Katz's location! This is our 3 time visiting it and it tops the rest ! The staff has been so welcoming and polite, the location is very clean and I absolutely love the green seats and the decor. Food wise, they have the most fresh tasting Reuben I've ever had. All the flavors of the meats and the sauerkraut with cheese just shine through. No negative comments on my end, they have a good amount of parking and they have some entertainment games outside! Katz Never Kloses but maybe they should! It was our first (and last) visit to a Katz's. The atmosphere was nice, parking was easy and we got seated immediately as it was a weeknight. We waited forever for a server, as the hostess said they were short staffed. The chicken soup was quite good but it was downhill from there as we ordered a corned beef on rye with cheese and we got a Reuben. We were too hungry and waited too long to send it back. The popular deli down the street has nothing to worry about.

The food tastes very good and is fresh. The service is very friendly and they answer any questions you may have. You won't be disappointed if you eat here. It will be the best meal you've had in a while. Their cheesecake is phenomenal. They have Dr. Browns Black Cherry Cola I highly recommend I also recommend their loaded potato chips but you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything I've had on the menu has been very tasty.

New location. Just opened for 3 months. Decided to drop in since this was our old stomping ground at the Montrose location back in the young years of clubbing days. It was soooo fresh and clean inside. Except for a few crumbs left behind from the previous guest in our booth. I normally don't like meaty dishes. I think my friend ordered the pot roast?? Dear foodie readers....as you know Katz's never kloses...well now they opened up a new location off of Westheimer and new castle...which is conveniently located for moi'...of course I have been to the Montrose location many a times, late nights, after school during my university days, or just because I love breakfast 24/7......but now with this place around the corner, I will be visiting more often....Driving into the parking lot, I liked the covered parking option, as you may know Houston summers are not to be taken lightly... read more

3.5 stars We attended the soft opening of Katz's new Galleria restaurant. Beautiful sunlit space with many well-trained and friendly staff greeting customers. The design took into account interior noise with acoustic ceiling tiles which allows for conversation without excessive volume. What a fun spot! So yummy, so many menus choices you'll have to go back. Service is great. The staff is fun and seem to enjoy what they do. Love this place and will enjoy going back.

really beautiful interior and amazing patio. the food was great and jaylon our waiter had a really great smile, really welcoming. we got the sirloin steak, potato skins, all delicious. good experience, will definitely go again.
