This was the first time at this location. Things that we liked: good customer service and the breakfast was tasty, we felt the coffee was just ok for the price. The selection of bagels could have been better, only plain and everything available. The price of the food was ok, there is a 2% charge if you pay by credit card.

I'm really irritated that I ordered a salad and was charged extra for ranch dressing. My salad had none on it, so I asked for it and then was charged 99 cents. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was great. Our main meals were just ho hum. The service was lacking with drink refills too. Overall, I'd say skip this place.

Ambiance- nice Service - very good Food - average. At best. Too much bread, skimpy on the turkey and bacon. Charged $1 for Ranch dressing. Then charged 2.85% for credit card usage. I will not be returning.

Wow. I couldn't even get a greeting long enough to place an order--apparently my time and money mean nothing here. Staff acted like they were doing me a favor by existing in the same room. Service this bad should come with a warning label. Do yourself a favor: go literally anywhere else and save your dignity.

We ordered the breakfast tacos, a burger with cheese only and fries, a chopped steak with mash potatoes and salad and a side of fries. We did not get the side of fries, the burger had everything on it, and the chopped steak had so much salt on it that it was not edible (throw away). The salad was dripping in water and most of the lettuce was old and bad around the edges. Will never go back to this location.

Update on Katz's in Houston not affiliated with the famous Katz's in New York Berry Katz's of Houston and Willie and Benny Katz's of New York not related my take is Berry Katz's of Houston took extreme advantage of his Name not claiming or disclaiming letting his patrons assume

Katz's the corporation must've pulled that name out of a hat the food prepared the is nothing close to ethnic I had a Reuben sandwich at Katz's I've been on this earth 84 years and have had a multitude of Reuben sandwich's when I lived back east Katz's need to send their cooks to Chicago or New York so they can get it right I mean you are spending the big bucks you should get the real deal for your money either or take the name Katz's off the marquee you're a fraud

I honestly can't remember what all I ordered but it was 3 meals and 3 slices of dessert. Mid. Overpriced for the quality. I wouldn't eat Katz's again. I really didn't eat it that night, I tasted it and didn't want it.

The last two times we've visited your location. The corned beef and pastrami was maybe one or two steps more moist than beef Jerky. Two totally different visits about two months apart. We visited another deli the next day to see if their results would be the same as yours. Ziggy and Kenny's Deli on Post Oak, Absolutely fantastic. Never been to the New York location. And the next time I'm in New York, I'll give you a try. But please come and check on your Westierner location.
