I had chicken in the pot. It's my favorite. A steel pot with a lid is brought to you and inside is a 1/4 of a chicken and big potato chunks, along with carrots and noodles and a matzo ball. All covered by a delicious broth. I also had the Fruit Basket drink. Not to sweet and refreshingly delicious.

Katz's new location in Houston on Westheimer near the galleria is everything you need and want and they're open 24/7. Beautiful new building interior exterior great service, delicious food . The parking lot is a little small and it probably gets busy during peak brunch times but with 24 seven you can stop in anytime so go now and thank me later .

The food is okay, coffee is strong and good for my taste. We picked skinny corned beef, Philly cheese steak, roast beef and salad. I think the Caesar salad is the best. Our server was Ali and requested for water with lemon and he said they are out, but then I saw that he served 3 different tables water with lemons. I feel I got discriminated. Food is good. Second visit. Floors need to be stripped as they are greasy slick. Waiter was good but the bill for two of our party of five was switched and had to be corrected back. Good menu, lots of choices.

I have stopped by a few times now for lunch. Food is always on point, but disappointing that the service is never more than average. Restaurant is very nicely designed and has a large patio. Plenty of parking. Eggs Linda and Reuben sandwich are what I order the most.

We had lunch here today and I had to leave a receive because their customer care is top tier. Our waiter name is Shawn and crazily, he came in on his day off and was incredible! Very intensive, very kind, very fun!! May Shawn be blessed and get a raise. Thank you for your impeccable customer care!!

Today was our first time visiting Katz ( it used to be the River Oaks Plant House). We had a decent dining experience- only waited 10-15 mins for a table, but the staff were definitely scrambled all over the place (maybe short staffed). They serve breakfast all day so we had the waffle sandwiches with house fries. It was good but nothing to rave about. The new location is really nice. The food is great. Our server was not great, but we will definitely go there again. It seems like they raised their prices, $68 for 2 sandwiches, fries and onion rings.

This new location is sooo convenient!! Saves me a long drive. The patio area was very pretty, the restaurant is very well organized and spacious. It was also very clean. Our waitress was very nice and patient, the food service was fast and everything was and looked delicious. Will definitely be going back soon. There is plenty of parking as well.
