This place was clean and the wait staff was pleasant but the food wasn't good. Home fries were covered with black pepper which I had to scrape off with the side of my fork. Whole wheat bread was just that kind they call wheat because the over-processed flour wasn't bleached. The only spread for the toast was that Smuckers brand of high fructose corn syrup. The only thing Greek about my omelet was the feta cheese. How about bits of red onion and Kalamata olive to call it Greek? Just not my kind of place.

Been going here for about a year and have had good food and good service but today it was busy and there was a wait. After ten minutes of waiting my name came up. My friend was parking and when I got to the hostess stand I was informed it was company policy that I could not be seated until my companion arrived .. not an offer to have me wait until she walked in and then we would be seated next but to be put at the end of the line (with a big crowd ahead of me) and start all over again. We watched as the owner allowed a lady to come into the restaurant with a fairly large non service dog. There was no dog carrier so where is the dog going to sit. Guess where the dog got to sit, you got it right on the bench where you might sit, let's just hope the dog didn't do its business right before sitting on that bench. Come on KeKe's you can tell someone the dog must be in a carrier or send them packing.

Always gave this cafe good marks until yesterday. Went in. The menu had changed. It was on the tiniest font available so that the diner can't read it - even with reading glasses. Mentioned it to the waitress who said yes, they had complaints. While trying to read the small type, we got frustrated and left. You can't see the menu, you can't order. You can't order, you can't eat.

This is my second time visiting Keke's off University Parkway while in Sarasota visiting my family for a week. The food was average to me not very flavorful if you ask me, they do give you large portions of food though. The old guy that's at the front when you first walk in that takes your name can use a class in customer service skills because he totally lacks customer service. Service was slow. Ordered English muffin well done, came raw and wet with butter. Also ordered two eggs over easy, they were raw! Could not even eat my meal and waitress never asked why I didn't eat my meal.

No... We didn't like it... Food - didn't taste well and the recipes were not settle. Not recommended. Service and parking - good.

Terrible! Waffle was so dense that we had to cut it with a knife. Eggs came out only halfway cooked (watery whites) and we had to send them back. First time visitor, will not return.

Waitress was the best part of this one- they have a great staff but the food was kind of underwhelming. Pancakes were thick and heavy and the bacon was not quite done. Super clean and the cokes are HUGE! May have been an off day, will give em another try!
