this restaurant is horrible to have to wait over an hour when you place your name on the waitlist and are told your wait is less than what you actually waited . with multiple parties being seated before us when they arrived after us! the employees dont know what they are doing, it seems you have to request a manager to get any help in this place. the hostess walked throughout the restaurant with no intention of seating our party because " we seat smaller parties before large ones no matter when you are added to the waitlist... read more
The service was slow, which i understand due to current global staffing problems, however we waited almost an hour for our food after we ordered. The place smelled like rotten garbage/soured milk. It was not a very welcoming environment. Servers were not friendly. Should have read the recent reviews before we went in there. And at the end, we were given the wrong check, which was a $17 difference. Dont plan to go back.
Don't know why this place has such good reviews you're better off going to Denny's. Wait time is incredibly long and the hostesses are rude. The coffee is absolutely disgusting seems like they use the same coffee grounds to brew multiple times yuck! Waiter spilled HOT coffee on one of the people on our table, management came to apologize but didn't even offer a first aid kit let alone comp the coffee lol. The only redeeming things about this place are waffles and french toast. Save your time and go elsewhere.
Visiting Orlando and waiting for my AirBnB check in time so i decided to grab some food. This place had pretty good reviews. The food was just ok (decent plating) BUT the front house operations and kitchen needs major attention! I was a Party of 1. Came in and got on the list. Told it would be 25-30 mins. Ok; No problem. Don't go here if you are hungry. After 45 minute wait for a table you will wait over an hour for food. When we got our food it was horrible. Hard boiled eggs Benedict and microwaved scrambled eggs. After being ignored and having rude service for 2 hours the waitress finally apologized when it was tip time. Avoid this place.
Confused by the popularity of this place. We got there before 8am and the place was about 1/3 full. Our server was great but twice had to apologize about our food taking so long. We finally got our food around 835. One of my eggs was over hard, one was over easy, bacon was fatty and floppy, and our pancakes weren't cooked. This place isn't even over hyped, it's just not good. They drown their breakfast foods in toppings to make them taste good but for chain breakfast places, it's terrible.
By far the worst restaurant experience ever. Oh man, this experience was very horrific. A friend and I came to Kekes for breakfast, there wasn't a wait for us initially because it was just two of us. Apparently if your are not of Hispanic origin you will not be served... me and my friends waited patiently to be seated for almost 30 minutes while we saw multiple parties walk in after us and get seated... we should have took heed to the warning from the family that was leaving as we were walking in... long story short it seems as if blacks are NOT welcomes
What a horrible experience!. We went In there with our two kids and everything was normal waited 30 minutes since it was Sunday. When we sat down the I ordered coffee and the waitress handed me a coffee mug with lipstick on it, thankfully my husband saw it before i drank from it.
