It is never good, when you have to ask to speak to the manager before you even sit down at your table, but alas, that is what happened to me when I visited Keke's for the first time this morning. Since this is a relatively new restaurant, I was concerned that they might be too busy, so before driving over, I called to find out what the wait time was. I was soooo excited to try this place!! The food is ok....service is slow. Way understaffed in the kitchen today. Servers need to learn the menu better and be trained a little more. I described it as an over-glorified Village Inn as the food is nothing fancy, just not as greasy. May return for a waffle just to see how they do, but saw a few undercooked sausage links roll by as we waited over 25 minutes for our food and watched the managers dote over the table next to us who, by the way, came in later than us AND received the... read more
