I'm one who likes things (especially something this major) to be planned out. The home purchase (offer) was made in September with a horribly long way to close (not Ken's fault) but I went in as pre-approved and it still took until the day before close to know if I was even going to get the house. I felt like my life was in limbo for almost 3 months - you can't line up movers or workmen or do any of the things that might need doing because you don't know if you'll need them. Very unsettling.

The lack of communication from Ken was astounding! I don't think he listened to when we would talk with him and did not follow any of our requests or take the time to walk us through the loan and refinance process. It was a headache from start to finish and I am just happy to be done with it. Next time, please communicate with the people you are working with and actually read what they send you as a response in the email.

This should not be a surprise to Ken that we had a very unpleasant experience with him and will not be recommending him or Axia to friends and family. He continued to drop the ball throughout the process. In general, we had poor communication, numerous botched paperwork numbers and a very delayed timeline in our loan and subsequent refinance of our home. It took over 3 months to put the money from our old house sale into the new one. Ken never apologized for the hassle. Steer clear.

If this is for Dearborn Path, our biggest concern was that you didn't know about your buyer's name change, which has delayed our closing by at least 24 hours ( not sure yet because we are still waiting to close)
