I'm quite the coffee snob being that I was a former barista,roaster and taster at an artisan roasting company. Anyhow thought I'd try La La Land to see if they can give the bigger chains a run for their money? I base chain judging mostly on regular lattes and vanilla ones. Regular to taste bean quality and vanilla to see how over saturated they make them sweeteners. This company does use good beans and apparently roast their own. Ambiance: I love this Lalaland location the interior of the place is cute and the outdoor seating is nice. Service: Some staff if friendly and others are rude with an attitude from my past couple of visits. The last time I went there wasn't during a rush and had enough staff working. The pastry I ordered took like over 10 minutes. I already had my coffee and still didn't see my pastry so I asked the staff about it. Horrible - never has egg bites and even when I ordered via Postmates, shows they have egg bites but then received pastries instead. Also, most of the time you can't order because they're "busy".

Honestly I'm over this place. The drinks are generally good, but so overpriced for what you get. The "medium" is about the size of a Starbucks tall. I just paid over $8 (with tip) for a tiny hot latte that isn't even filled to the top. Even the foam doesn't reach the top of my cup. I also dislike that they don't call your name when your drink is ready. Idk who came up with the olive oil idea on the burrata toast, but tastes absolutely terrible!! I used to order from them the same thing and I love it, because of the chili oil they used, now they charge you extra for it and they switch it to olive oil, made the whole thing taste bitter.

I've been twice. The first time I was by myself and I spoke to the cashier about the different flavors, levels of sweetness and places I've had matcha that I liked before. I wouldn't have come back because the drink was too expensive and just tasted like sweetener; no matcha or other flavor. I had friends visit from out of state and they insisted on trying it. Against my better judgment, I tried another matcha latte but got a different flavor from last time. I was disappointed again and my friends' coffees were "pretty good"... read more

This place is somewhere I CONTINUOUSLY come get coffee to. Probably every day as I am 3 min away. NEVER AGAIN! I thought I'd get a cup of water since I couldn't get coffee, the guy with the hat and curly hair about kicked me out of the place and rudely told me they were closed (the girl outside told me it was ok to go in to get water since she sees me all the time).
