Pleasant rooms too small. long wait to use elevator, gave me a room that has not been cleaned from previous guests. . Messy at time of check in, staff still cleaning rooms and halls too crowded with personnel, carts and vacuum cleaners. location

Good Rooms are small. Pack lightly. The 14 story building has one elevator. Plan accordingly. We chose La Quinta because of the location and the price (which is still high, but remember, this is NYC) The location is fantastic - near great restaurants, coffee shops, Central Park and public transit. The rooms were spotless and tiny. Great shower. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
