Fair Our flight was delayed. Called from Trinidad at 6:pm to United States to tell La Quinta we would be checking in later due to the delay. The staff member said no problem. Upon arrival at 3am the next day, the rep was under charging us. I confirmed that I was quoted a higher price and did not want to be debited further. He then said it was a mistake and it was actually US100 more since we were checking in late. I advised that I called and he said he received no such message and couldn't do anything. Fair We got different room (two queen beds) than booked (one king bed). There was not enough light in the room, no functional fan in the bathroom, poor heating, too much furniture. Absolutely terrible breakfast - breakfast room in the basement, dirty tables, chairs covered by plastic foil, very bad coffee, no choice of food (only toastbread or donuts, butter, jam).. s. O. Die Lage war schlecht, direkt an der Straße, sehr laut und unruhig bis in die Nacht hinein. Man konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen, die Lautstärke von draußen zu groß. Im Badezimmer dunkle Flecken oben in den Ecken, Schimmel?? Kein Fenster im Badezimmer, um zu lüften. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut und konnte nicht leiser gestellt werden, entweder an-oder ausstellen. Ein längerer Aufenthalt in dem Zimmer, unmöglich. Not a really good place This place is im really bad condition. Looks like everything is falling apart. Ceramic soap holder in bathroom was broken and sharp edges were real safety issue.
Okay De kamers zijn gedateerd en kunnen wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Echt schoon was de kamer ook niet. Overal een laag stof, en schimmel op het plafond van de badkamer. Het ontbijt is wel erg karig, wel brood, maar alleen jam als beleg. Gunstige ligging vlakbij lijn 7 van de metro, die je in 15 minuten naar Manhattan brengt.
