First time staying at Laquinta Pros: It was available. Cons: Training your staff to be quicker checking people in and out. I have stayed at many hotels and it had never taken so long to get checked in before. I've been charged twice for my room and am currently waiting for it be credited to my account after I was assured it would be upon checking out of my room. I'm still waiting. This hotel left me unimpressed and I don't think I'd stay at one again.

Never Again! Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything Location: Restaurants I have never stayed in a LaQuinta and there were not many choices in the area when I chose to book this room. I paid through Expedia and the deposit was $100 which was shockingly high for this hotel chain. I have never stayed at any hotel or resort with a deposit that high and I normally stay at more upscale hotels. La Quinta Auburn Pros: Bed, breakfast, liked that I could make a hot chocolate in the afternoon. The staff was very friendly. Denny's was right next door. Cons: Fix the computers in business center. A download was needed. Also fix the printer so it does more than copy and fax if it even does. Location: This was not a vacation. Don't know what is near by. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Close to White River amphitheater mediocre hotel Although I had already paid for the hotel, I was charged 100.00 for incidentals (like snacks from a commissary near the front desk). Most hotels just get a credit card number for incidentals. Breakfast offering was extremely limited time wise. Old furniture, overall needs updated. Good place if you just want to crash before or after a concert at nearby WhiteRiver Amphitheater.

Find a different hotel Pros: It was cheap, in every sense of the word. Also, though I did not have a pet with me, it appeared to be very pet-friendly. Cons: See my previous comments. While this place wasn't horrible, it certainly did not live up to my expectations. I had no washcloths in my room and no hair dryer (which I did not discover until getting ready to see a client the morning after I arrived). It took three trips to the front desk to get a hair dryer. Very disappointed Pros: The friendly staff. Cons: Have equipment that works! We arrived to find our room heated to 75F. It took 2 days for the air conditioning to drop it 5 degrees!!! Couldn't sleep at night. Our room backed on to the Interstate, so while the windows muffled some of the noise, it certainly didn't muffle it all. The little fridge in the room whined all night. horrible Pros: Was fairly clean but staff not to friendly. Cons: staff front desk person was very unprofessional. Location: no good restaurants around. We had a hard time finding the hotel and when we checked in we went to the room and they key didn't work. I went back downstairs and got a new one. That key did not work. Back downstairs and she changed us to a different room and floor. Key finally worked. Second day we come back from being gone all day and our room had been left open all day.
