Front desk was good service but rooms and parking floors are terrible around the building no safety no cameras in hotel dog shyt in hallway pool was ok but never again

Bulldoze this place and start again Our stay began with a 45 minute check in experience. Although the staff were lovely, they couldn't cope with the weekend influx. Over the rest of the weekens, we witnessed a drug deal (guns included), a haze of smoke leaking in from the room next door, and various people on drugs wandering the halls. The broken security lock on our door added to a general sense of lack of safety. Room was not clean, a strong odor of cigarette smell inside the room. Counter top was sticky with residue of juice or soda spilled over. AC/Heat fan was to loud appeared to be defective/damage.

The property is nothing like the pictures online. Very deceiving, I had to Lysol the entire room before I could lay anything down or sit on anything. I couldn’t even stay the entire night. It felt too eerie and dirty. The tub was awful, I couldn’t take a bath like I wanted too. I wanted to wash my small dog and I couldn’t even put him through that. So I left the property @ 10p. I am so disappointed that La Quinta in Fairfield NJ was nothing like the pictures online. It felt more like a cheap motel for a high price night.
