Very nice place for the business traveler Hotel is fairly new and very well kept, exactly what the business traveler is looking for. Staff was very knowledgeable of the area and very friendly
Great Hotel Cons: Slow down those outside doors. Location: My mother is in the VA home less than a mile away. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the outside door slams and can be heard half way down the hall where my room was.
Front desk needs more experience but good hotel. Pros: Clean, comfortable & spacious rooms. Convenient to shopping, restaurants etc. Cons: Inexperience of front desk staff. We booked for 2 queen beds & a pull out couch for 5 people. The hotel didn’t have that. The guy working the desk sat at the breakfast area and didn’t offer any solutions. He didn’t even get up to go to the computer. We slept 5 in 2 beds. Pool did not look cared for.
Place is outdated. Breakfast closed 20 min early. I had one cockrach inside bathroom. Receptionist lady was kind.
They ran it of butter on Sunday. By Wednesday, they still didn’t have any. They had tea baths and hot chocolate mix, but no hot water.
We got a room for 6 and had 5, couldnt even sleep 4. 1 bed and a pull out sofa with no bedding available. So for $211 we got no pillows or sheets just 2 blankets to wrap in. Had to put one of our kids on the floor to sleep. Curtains are ripped so we had to rig it so the sun didnt come in on us.
We had room 302. It was a king bed with a living room. A bathroom between the foyer and bedroom. The traffic was so loud. I used the couch to try and sleep. That couch needs replacing. There is toothpaste spats between the mirror on facet. The tub wouldn't turn off completely. There were spots on the bottom of the tub that can come off with the proper scubber & cleaner. Bed linens were terrible! Beaded up sheets and pillow cases. Found roaches in room. Housekeeping didn’t clean room each day (make beds, empty trash). Breakfast was good and front desk staff was friendly.
