Pool off limits Disappointed because the pool is not open and the online says there’s a pool and hot tub. They said it was close for painting the ceiling. You should know that first that’s why I booked that place.

There was a stranger in my room! I recently Booked a room at La Quinta Inn in Floresville, Texas, and unfortunately, my experience was less than ideal. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant quickly provided me with my room key, which seemed like a smooth check-in process. DIRTY SOFA!!! When I checked into the room I was getting the pull out sofa ready for my child. Upon pulling it out the device that was holding the mattress was covered in a white mildew/mold like substance. I checked the mattress itself and it was filthy. The sofa was somewhat clean but had a few questionable spots. It was late at night so we just covered the sofa with a sheet/blanket and made it work. This place was clean and the staff at check in was nice and helpful. My poor rating was due to our tub being completely clogged and would not drain at all. This being a pet friendly hotel is great and all but should be a way to let your guests know if they would like to stay next to someone with dogs and give them the choice to stay or not. We had several dogs barking next door to us nonstop, we unfortunately didn’t get much rest.
