Bad service, bad smell, run-down. We stayed at this hotel prior to a cruise out of the port of Miami. When messaging with the property prior to the trip, the management indicated a very late checkout would not be an issue ( couldn’t arrive at port until 16:00) as they had plenty of vacancy. Upon checkin, the desk attendant said he couldn’t approve it, and said he didn’t know who the messages were from when I showed him the messaging on the app. He said we’d have to ask the next morning. Very Poor Breskfast was terrible. The pick up service took us 1 hour to get picked up. The cleanness of the hotel, elevator was awful.
Disappointing The hotel is near the airport which is really convenient. However, when we arrived the receptionist was not in a good mood. It's so strange to arrive at a hotel and not be greeted with a big smile. That should be the golden rule for any hotel. We left early for the airport and noticed that someone had peed in the elevator (during the time we were going up and down to get our bags, no staff came to clean).
