Not ready for occupancy This property is under renovations with only the lobby area updated. There was safety issue of doors sticking and not closing all the way, no gym available nor the option to go to a sister property facility, and our tv had 8 circular lights on the tv during viewing.
At check in I was told this property was under construction. That information should be available at booking, not at check in.
They failed to notify on their site that the property has very bad water damage on both the first and second floors. Building is currently being remodeled and smells like mold. The white sheets in my room had a stain of some sort, and they never replaced the sheets like they said they would. I paid $140 for a room that was maybe a $50 value. The property was under major construction. EXPEDIA did not note that when I booked the room and didn't find out until 2-3 hours before check in. We were given authorization to contact Expedia and cancel, but we couldn't find another room close to our destination. So we stuck it out with the La Quinta. Sheet rock dust everywhere, plastic on all the floor, leaking toilet, doors with apparent water damage (mold and rot). Under construction and gym closed
Was not told ahead of time of the ill repair of the hotel. No complimentary breakfast as advertised and did not even have cream for the coffee,only flavored coffee mate which I do not like.
