We always come for the music and it was recently removed. We asked to speak to a manager multiple times to share the feedback that you should consider bringing it back on weekends because it's so widely desired. It definitely takes the overall dining experience down a notch or two... especially when everything else is so good.
Stella overcooked their peso Nico. It was tough. Worse they overcooked the risotto. This is inexcusable given their claim that they are an Italian restaurant and the prices are very high. They do have a good Branzino. Don’t go for food. Have a drink and forget the rest.
Steak why definitely not worth the price, huge cartilage piece in the NY strip made it super chewy. Pasta was great but the steak was a no no
The best part was our server, Oscar, who was outstanding. Other than that everything was fine. Not great as we were expecting. Food was okay…my stake was a bit too salty…risoto was fine…Overpriced considering the experience…Not going back… Just curious: Who was the terrible idea of covering the whole beautiful piano with table cloths? Just horrible…tacky… Piano is such a majestic instrument…just sad… Mechanical music a bit too loud. Pianist/singer was good.
Overall I was very underwhelmed with drinks, pretty pricey and cocktails either taste like water or straight alcohol. First two apps came out pretty cold but the calamari and shrimp was sent back immediately it was ice cold. I honestly was shocked for it to only be two tables and barely any food coming out the kitchen why would they send out pre fried seafood as if they were super busy. Food was first class. Service was friendly but over stretched so waits between ordering different courses was too long. What really hurt the experience was the noise level. Crowd noise and live singing in a small confined space was overwhelming. The singing was really good but it was exhausting got talk over it and the general talking.
Anniversary Dinner, we have passed your place many times going to events in area so decided to try it. First the good, food and service was nice. We were seated and told happy anniversary, and we will bring you a champagne toast, which never came. Still not a problem as we had our drinks we purchased at bar. This was a really fun experience for a business/social engagement. Our server, Adam was spot on and made some great recommendations. One of my guests requires GF items and the Osso Bucco with polenta was a hit. Who knew it was GF? I ordered it and enjoyed it too. Overall, a bit pricey and a total DARK CLOUD was the bartender charged me $28 for one Belvedere vodka with water on the rocks. Outrageous! The food was good, but the menu limited. Service was friendly but a bit slow and not overly warm. Just not a tremendous value for the price point.
