Although the service was good, the food unfortunately was not. We ordered the mussels, mushroom ravioli, risotto and panacotta for dessert. The mussels were fine but the broth wasn't particularly special. The mushroom ravioli was probably the best although it didn't have a lot of flavor, and the risotto was bland and uninteresting. The $60 ribeye steak was a grisly chewy unenjoyable mess. Been coming to La Strada for 20 years, but probably not coming back. They used to have a chicken picada years ago, but they got rid of it. I don't know why? But to send out that horrible piece ribeye to me is insulting. It was an anniversary dinner too. Went away hungry and left behind a plate of gristle that was equal to at least have the portion provided. Not impressed at all. There are better choices than this place with much better value.

Disappointing return experience. Veal Saltimbocca had no cheese and only a sliver of prosciutto. Service was inconsistent.

Had my Birthday dinner there with friends. Service was mediocre and food was cold.
Food was terrible. Veal piccata was served cold in a cream sauce and capers. Never had piccata served this way. The veal was tough and very skimpy 2 pieces. Asparagus was cold . Shaved hard cheese was never offered,this is an Italian restaurant.Salad was spring mix and 2 grape tomatoes and Gorgonzola cheese. I was thinking I would get fresh lettuces.

2 people ordered Beef ravioli. Both said lacked flavor and pasta was stale. Charred octopus tender. Steamers had sand and 5 did not open. Spaghetti Carbonara was just ok. The ambiance was incredible so we expected unbelievable food. Well, completely disappointing!! Go to the food court before you think about going to La Strada!
