It’s easy to tell that no money is reinvested into the building or optimization of treatment. Staff is amazing, counselors are good, but a lot of issues like the Meds etc.
Facility needs to be updated. Experienced two days with no hot water. Rooms are not cleaned sufficiently. Mold in rooms. Could not go outside except for enclosed area…. No exercise! Staff to patient ratio is not appropriate. Great staff though! They are over-worked! Continuity of care missing. Severely ill patients are not receiving medications when needed.
Don’t go here if you’re actually wanting to get sober. There is a pound of salt in every meal. They are militant about wearing Covid masks, but they don’t clean anywhere in the facility. The place is so gross. The patient to staff ratio is ridiculous. We are required to attend groups of 50+. The majority of nurses are clueless. There are some very nice, caring people that work there, and just feel sorry for them. Because their hands are apparently tied to make any difference.

Barbara should not be ceo she’s rude confrontational and dismissive towards clients. She stole cigarettes that a client paid for and kept them for house cigarettes. It took me 5 hours to get half of what was bought. The other staff is great but she shouldn’t be in charge of handing out water.
Staff here is amazing treatment has lacked in the med field with malpractice trying to send people out with a active tapper and no follow up treatment which is illegal I’ve seen this on multiple occasions since arriving at Laguna Treatment Center.
I was lied too on the phone. I was told we would go to the beach at times for groups. Arrived and I asked again and the answer was “not since COVID” And my taper was terrible. I’m still withdrawing from benzos, and the telehealth nurse practitioner had no sympathy saying “I would have cut you off at 7 days. I went from 10mg to zero
