Get directionsHow in the world have they taken away the balls from the basketball court. The first time I came here I was able to shoot a few minutes each day and loved it! Now suddenly, they aren’t there. There are pics of the goal on the website. Tell me this isn’t the case! Why would something so therapeutic be ripped from my life. Help Laguna beach! Don’t do this. I came from far away and my favorite thing is now gone; there are still the fun activities because they have a kick/arse activities coordinator, but she can’t possibly be sc... read more
Nancy is the shit. Great staff person. Been there done that and understands
Most of the staff is wonderful, but communication is poor amongst staff members relating to client affairs. Specially, the intake to room introduction. There were not many instructions once I was shown to my room, and I had to ask questions about next steps. Morning vitals and meds process is slow and unorganized. You can of have to “go-with-the-flow.
I went here for two days was kicking and they found out my insurance didn’t cover it and they made me leave and I hadn’t eaten in two days and I was in a room alone and no one checked on me this is a dangerous place for someone who is really needing detox and treatment
Hospital is very accommodating. They kick you out if you can’t pay thousands of deductible and work out a payment plan with you. This is my third time here and I was 13 month sober when I returned here for the third time. In that 13 months some things changed. Some of the best staff aren’t here anymore. Like a lot of staff. That much turnover in one year is concerning. Don’t take patient complaints seriously. Keep getting told they will forward it on. There is no patient bathroom downstairs. There is a bathroom but it is lo... read more
This place is nice, kind and cociderat.I learned a lot
I was hoping for an exit interview once I completed 30 days of inpatient but no such luck so I wrote my own. I outlined some good things about my experience there and many things that needed improvement. I mailed it to the head administrator but never heard anything back. The best thing about the center was the food and a few of the counselors. I only had 3 individual sessions. During my time there the facility admitted residents that needed much more intensive care than they could provide. One young girl had to be strapped ... read more
I’ve been in n’ out of detoxes and rehabs all over Southern California for the past 4 years and there were a few things that for me at least, made this the best experience yet. One, you can drive there and park your own freakin car in their parking lot and not have to worry about where you’ll leave your car while you are gone. Two, they don’t take your phone away from you, like even once, at all, no black out period, no handing over your phone whatsoever!! Cray, right? Lastly, I know this isn’t what laguna Treatment hospital... read more
Run! Run ! Run! Especially if you have insurance. This isn't a treatment center it is a detox although they don't sell it that way. I was there 28 hours, no comfort meds, not heart medication that i needed, nothing. I had to leave because I asked for them and a male nurse lost it on me. So I immediately left. They filed an AMA and now I can't go to a different treatment center. DO NOT BE FOOLED. They sales person will say its a treatment center but it is a 15 day detox. If you leave they will gas light you.
