Thought was great until lately! the maintenance has become horrible in promptness and communication. I'm disgusted! I would gladly have recommended this place before but not now
Where should I start.... let's begin when I moved from Columbus, Ohio to Indiana and found this place.... thankful they could get me in so quick but the problems immediately started happening. My neighbors were great, friendly and fun but within about a month, someone shot through their back door with a gun shattering their back door. I walked in the office today and somebodys written check is sitting out on an unoccupied desk. Your information, complete with amount, name, and address is out for everybody to see/steal. Do not trust your information with these people. Staff is incredibly rude and they never answer phones. Cheap rent, but they charge you for everything under the sun. Your water is determined by everybody in your building and devided it is equally so if you live by yourself (like I did) and you have 3 families in your building you end up pay... read more

Lake Castleton is a joke. This was my first apartment. I was late one time in 6 years. 6 whole years and was charged a fee and looked down upon. I will not be renewing my lease with these idiots.
I signed a one year lease and easily moved in. I had just relocated to Indianapolis for work and didn't have a lot of time to look. They were accommodating to my short move-in timeline. I had to move out before my lease was up but kept paying to finish out the lease. Three months after my lease was up, I got a phone call from a debt collector telling me that I owed roughly 3 months of rent plus late fees. I've lived in better places, and I've lived in worse. When I first moved in I had issues with the maintenance in my apartment but after a month of trying to fix it, they finally got everything fixed. My biggest complaint is just the people who live here. Everyone drives crazy, speeding around the complex. I've almost gotten hit dozens of times..in my car and while walking my dog. Also, neighbors like to think it's a party every night. Everyone in the office is lovely though..just could use some updating in the apartments. If... read more
