Update: 2024 CHEVROLET SILVERADO RST. If you recall I had bought this truck in July had 1800kms and the truck put me in LIMP MODE. service had my truck for 6 weeks, replaced everything from the fuse box, wiring hardware, multiple modules and more. I am now at 4000km and the truck went I to LIMP MODE AGAIN...LEAVING ME WITHOUT MY TRUCK AGAIN! NO WORD ON WHEN ILL BE GETTING IT BACK..... THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WITH NEW TRUCKS THESE DAYS.
Bought the truck with 30km 2024 Silverado RST within 1,200kms the truck had over 1200 engine codes which put my truck in LIMP MODE! Found a dent in the door! Really wish I had a rental at the moment...
Lack of communication and never know if they will call back and were hard to make a deal with

I recently took my 2022 Chevrolet Equinox RS in for an oil change and to have my cabin air filter changed out. I had attempted to change the cabin filter myself (it is a fairly simple procedure, the cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment and is easily accessed except for the two 5.5 mm screws that have to be removed before you can gain access the cabin air filter). Maby I’m small town but I have tried to like dealing here but just can’t. Bought new 2024 Tahoe after poor prep on the new ride and handful of small details not being looked after properly I finally brought it back for the first time (I live 2 hrs out of the city) was owed 2 free oil changes I have but 24,000 km on this since Dec as drive to hockey all over and US holiday this winter. Went in to Lakewood to take a car for a test drive. I am a previous customer and in there system as confirmed by the salesman after I gave him my DL. To take the car for a test drive he wanted my credit card. Im a 69 year old guy who has purchased more than one vehicle from Lakewood. I said no credit card and Carlos said no test drive. I left the dealership. I am sure my treatment will be better at Sherwood Park Chevrolet. Good lock Carlos with you test drive policy.

This will be my second subpar review … I booked an appointment to get my 2015 Equinox serviced at Lakewood Chevrolet for Friday, April 5, 2024. Onstar reported a problem with my battery/starter connectivity. As it was due for an oil change, I requested an appointment to get both done. I brought the vehicle in at 07:30 AM that morning and would leave it while I attended other matters. There’s always some sort of issue with service. The service manager is extremely condescending and unhelpful for anything, Always. Mechanics recommend expensive, unnecessary parts and services all the time, don’t diagnose problem after several visits, and refuse to do necessary work, even when specifically requested. Complete lack of customer service. Gave them one last chance & they lied to my face about a very obvious problem & ignored another.
