I have never tried so hard to buy a new vehicle I spoke with Jim multiple times - and he committed to me on many different occasions, to provide me with a price the next day. Well every next day would pass - with no estimate. I repeatedly called / emailed - and he would follow up with another false commitment. I have purchased two vehicles here previously - and was hoping to purchase a third. Each vehicle has been brand new - between the 70 to 80 thousand dollar mark. Worst warranty work ever READ THIS before you service run Like the wind from the service shop. It has taken 5 visits and the loss of my truck for a total of 7 days to repair a tire issue and then they tried to blame another dealership for damage that they have done to my truck. I did contact Kerry Russell once the problem with vibration started after the first visit, and this is what has transpired. visit 1- at service for 1 day. After everything The service Manager has agreed to replace the damaged rim...since then the truck still has a bad vibration through the truck at speeds of 105-120 kms. The service manager has also "politely" requested that I do not bring the truck back there since they are uncomfortable working on my truck because I have high standards. I personally feel I have the right to high standards after spending $50,000 for the truck

Poor quality workmanship then intimidated by Service Manager I have taken my car to Lakewood Chev several times since I bought my car through another dealership. I left that dealership and several others with a very bad taste in my mouth, I came to Lakewood because of a reputation of doing good work and courtesy etc. and hoped that I finally found a dealership I could trust to repair my vehicle properly. Terrible Sevice I brought my car in just under a year ago telling the service department that it was not running right and making a noise when it started and a humming sound. I was told that they found nothing. Changed the sensor but that did not solve the problem. As i was leaving the dealership, I noticed that my engine light was still on. Walked back in to the service department and was told to not worry about it. No big deal. Now a year later I am looking at $1900.00 in repairs to the clutch and now the flywheel!! So many things went wrong with the purchase of my new car, they had to offer me free oil changes to try and make up for there horrible service . Now after 2 of those free oil changes there service is still so bad it makes free seem like the worst deal ever!! I'll bring my car in clean and then when I get it back the inside will be covered, and I mean covered in oil!!! (steering wheel, doors, windows, shifter, even spots on the seats) the one time they actually unhooked some of my electrical parts which would void my warranty... read more

Overall my experience with Lakewood I would say is disappointing, I brought my car in for a brake light and cruise control fix on Friday July 20, I dropped it off the previous night in the drop box specifically requesting an appraisal of service required, the next day(Friday) after several hours without any word I called the dealer to ask if they found anything, turns out not only had they found it they fixed it and my car was finished, they never called to say they found the problem, how they planned to fix it or that the w... read more
