Worst car buying & servicing experience of my life!! I cannot even describe the amount of issues and frustrations I have had with this dealership. The sale went great...Of course it did, they were taking my money. Absolutely awful service department. Last 2 times I've gone for a simple Oil change, I've had to wait more than 2 hours. First was a 3.5 hour wait for an oil change, second and last time was more than 2.5 hours, ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! Lakewood Chevrolet has officially lost my business despite purchasing my vehicle from Lakewood Chevrolet, a minimum 2.5-3 hour wait for a simple Oil change is ridiculous! Go elsewhere, save your time, save your money, and save your frustration!
If I could give zero stars I would....He passed me onto If I could give zero stars I would.... He passed me onto his “friend” Paul to look into a car loan. Stated “you’ll love him”. Nice people, Shady practices I had a great experience, however what I didn’t appreciate was seeing the true condition of the vehicle once a storm hit and all of the paint repairs Lakewood did showed their true colours (paint chipped along an entire window of my truck).
New car glass breaking and not fixing Bought new 2018 traverse. In just over a year two side windows broke on a clear day (Not vandalism). Dealership replaced the first window with no issue (under 5000km), but refused to adequately investigate the condition of the vehicle which had just over 50000km at the time of the break. The only way they would look into it would be at my cost even though the car is under its 60000km warranty. Never getting our business again!!! Have been dealing with Lakewood Chevrolet for years. Alot has changed over the past year including staff and management. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Paul Bessette. Hands down one of the most arrogant rude slime xxxxx I've ever come across. We will do business there again, only when he's no longer employed there...
poor customer service - service visit Lakewood Chevrolet really does not act in a manner that demonstrates their appreciation for the customer. An oil change appointment took 2 hours and left my car on the lot stating that none of their service employees were able to drive a standard shift vehicle, re-using dirty foot mats, leaving the vehicle dirty from boots, and upon bringing my concerns to Gord being addressed in a very disinterested and dismissive manner. Lakewood NO service I was booked for an oil change at 9 am. When I arrived they up-sold me to getting tires rotated etc because the package was on for $119. Plus I wanted a new air filter. They said they would like to have the vehicle for the morning, until around 1 pm. Then about 1230 they called and said my car won't be ready around 1 and they needed "a bit more time" so they offered a loaner car. Shrugged off like my problem didnt matter. Bought my car back in 2018, and the experience was great...Of course, they're making money. Have had nothing but issues with said car, and the dealership is not helpful. The service staff (James) I dealt with are great, but when I tried to talk to the Manager about my issue, and what I can do about it, he said they would find out what's wrong first and go from there.
