Very bad behaviour !! Ripped me off 😡😡 Took my Chevy cobalt for recalls. Had a little problem with my passenger door. Requested a quote. When I went to pick my car, they handed me $150 charge for the door. First, never got a quote from the guy. Second, the door wasn’t even fixed completely. Without my consent, they done the work and charged me. I wasn’t sure what to do. Very unprofessional conduct. Will never visit them again.
Lengthy wait time I made an appointment to have my oil changed. I told them that I was waiting for the vehicle. They told me that it would be done in an hour. I went to wait in the waiting room. 1 hour and 45 minutes later I went to inquire why it was taking so long. I was told that they were behind schedule. Nobody had bothered to let me know that I would be waiting so long to have an oil change done. I had to cancel another appointment elsewhere and I was late picking my children up from school.
Dissatisfying service I had my car in for AC coolant refilling and the car is under manufacturer warranty(gmc). It took them 3 days to let me know that it cannot be refilled as their machine to refill the refrigerant coolant was down. Moreover, they didnt commit me to do it once it is up and working. It is so dissatisfying that when they want to sell a car, customer is a top priority for sales, but when it comes to service, customer is taken for granted. Oil change gone bad I had called and said “While the oil is draining would you mind giving my driveshaft a shake to see if my u joints need to be replaced” they had spent 1 plus hours “trying” to to figure this out and couldn’t find a probelem with it after taking the vehicle for a road test etc etc doing much more that needed to be changed they also changed a little light that was out and I had the bulb at my house and charged me 30 bucks for it not happy walking out of there with a 200 plus Bill not going to come back and ... read more
Poor ownership I visited Lakewood dealership service department for complaint. Some woman gave a wrong information of my car. Eventually I ask my $20 return , but she brought me to a office. There was a arrogant racist man. He tried teach English and didn’t have a good manner. I waked away the dealership cause I felt so hurt my heart . Warranty and diagnosis Did not diagnose the car properly for all repairs. Had to argue and argue to get some thing out of eligible warranty. Would not visit for service.
True colours show when mistakes are made a simple oil change found a minor leak in the lower oil pan of my truck. Because it was covered under warranty, Lakewood took it upon themselves to "fix" the leak. A week later I was losing a litre of oil per day due to negligent work. The truck was towed to the nearest dealer for repair. Lakewoods service manager told me it wasn't their problem and that out of pocket expense for their poor work should be expected. Unnecessary Service Performed and Rectified I have previously had good experiences at this dealership, but this time I left feeling very unsettled. On a Wednesday evening, a series of warning lights came on my vehicle. I called first thing Thursday morning and was able to get it in that day, which I was quite impressed with as I was anxious about the warnings.
