My parents have kept in touch with their previous neighbors and have recommended Landon Ridge at Sugar Land Independent Living to all of their friends. The quality of the meals is top notch, friendly staff, very clean. We have no complaints. They are so happy to be a part of this facility.
The staff are friendly and helpful. We have weekly housekeeping. Our housekeeper is excellent, but I have heard a few complaints from other residents. Move in was easy. Maintenance is good. The activities ladies are terrific. There is plenty to do. The food is very good. Residents who move here from other facilities tell us that the food here is much better. My wife and I are content here. Sometimes management can be a little cranky, but they have several competing interests to satisfy. I recommend Landon Ridge.
The manager who showed us around was kind and cheerful. The staff seemed friendly as well. The apartments and facilities were good but my friend and I felt that the carpets were soiled and needed replacement. We would be interested to move here in the future as would many of our friends if the appearance was improved.
Staff very supportive of resident's needs and concerns. They are always available to address residents. We have weekly housekeeping in the villas. We are comfortable with what they're doing. Chef [name removed] and staff prepare wonderful meals. Special event meals rival what the best restaurants in Houston can offer. Variety of vegetables that are properly cooked can't be beaten. Our experience at Landon Ridge at Sugar Land was exceptional! Mother's apartment was in great shape and was very spacious. The staff were very kind and caring. They always delivered great service. We were pleased with everything about the place and would highly recommend it to others.
I'm a resident at Landon Ridge at Sugar Land Independent Living and everything has been great. Compared to other facilities with which I am familiar, this place, although not perfect, is a good value.
They charge extra for every task of maintenance. (Putting bath bars in). $[removed] for two bars that we supplied. The need to shampoo the front entrance and hall, where spills have happened. High initial fee charge of $[removed]. Monthly charge for personal security button. ($[removed]) Previous place charged yearly $[removed]. No monthly charge.
Not enough servers for lunch/ dinner. Not very nice when you ask for a cup of coffee and they say. "Get it yourself." The office staff and cleaning lady is so nice. Everyone I met, has been especially nice. The food is always cold. Soup is hot and delicious always. Very dark in my kitchen. Every apartment I have visited have track lighting. I think it would be nice to add another light near my sink.
