It's a lovely place to live, with friendly people, and it's well managed. The apartments are beautiful. My only suggestion is - it would be nice to have a live personal instructor for the exercise classes instead of the current video format.
We chose Landon Ridge mainly because of the proximity to my house. She has an apartment with a back door that leads out to the courtyard where she is able to walk her dog. The layout is spacious and wheelchair accessible. The meals are chef prepared. I would recommend them to others looking.
We chose Landon Ridge at Sugar Land because of the close proximity to our family and it fit our needs perfectly. The apartment sizes are a little smaller than what we were used to since we downsized from a house. We are really enjoying the meals here, they are chef prepared. I would recommend to others looking.
We toured here when my loved one was in better health. It was very nice. The location is excellent. They had different types of facilities, detached cottages, as well as apartments. I know one person who lives there, and she was very satisfied. It felt very friendly.
I chose Landon Ridge because the apartment sizes are really nice as compared to others that I saw. They were willing to work with us financially and had a plan where we could make a down payment and it would reduce our monthly rent forever. They also offer assisted living and if I had to move over there, the rent deal will still transfer over. The chef really tries to make interesting meals for us and so we have good variety. This community has a lot of land to work with. It felt very suburb or county living vs city life. They gave us great info also.
The residents that live there are very nice and enjoy getting together with each other. The staff are not able to keep a shift, lots of staff turnover. When they have a chef the meals are great, when they don't have a chef, the meals are just fair and then they are unable to specialize the meal. When you go in to tour the community, they tell you what's included and often times that changes. We chose this community because it is newer, it is clean, and it is close to my house.
I have nothing but great things to say about Landon Ridge Independent Living Sugar Land. From the minute I moved in a year ago, I was welcomed, befriended by just about everyone and felt at home from the start. My Mom has lived at Landon Ridge (previously Watercrest). for 4 years. She made friends from the beginning. But the new owners have greatly improved the meals and the maid service. And we’ve always gotten great responses to any service requests we’ve made. This has become my Mom’s home and we are grateful for the care and attention she receives from the staff.
