not the real deal I've purchased these cartridges several times. The most recent package of color ink came in different "Brother" bags and were missing the orange stopper seals. They are not printing the correct color and appear to be old cartridges that were refilled.
Couldn't even get a good test print I bought these last week, installed them when they came in earlier this week. I can't even get a good test print out of them. I've run so many test prints that two of the cartridges are out of ink. I spent about $50 for new Brother color and black cartridges and haven't gotten a single printout from them. I guess it's time to get a new printer and look at something other than Brother. I got about three years of light use out of this printer.

Check ALL the cartridges on arrival! I've used these for years and never had an issue. But when the last 3-pack arrived, I didn't need them right away, so I put them in the drawer, still in the box unopened. A few weeks later I installed the cartridges. They were still in their original shrink-wrap. Magenta was fine. But the cyan and yellow cartridges were missing the orange tabs that you have to twist off before installing the cartridges. Not as advertised. Two of the colored inks did not have the snap off seals. Tried to used them anyway, but not feeding ink at all. Evidently they must have been refills and not genuine new cartridges.
Poor value for the cost I ordered and installed a full set of these in cartridges in June of 2021. Here it is February 2022 (appx 7 months later) and the cartridges are either empty or almost empty. This would make sense if I printed large numbers of sheets, but I print just a few pages per month. The cartridge box states that it can yield approximately 600 pages. My best estimate is that I got less than 10% of that claim, in other words, less than 60 pages over 7 months. This ink thing has always been a scam between all the... read more
CYAN EMPTY So yes I did order these 12/21, but went to replace CYAN and the new one is empty!!! Go figure. Can’t wait to have to use the others … NOT!
Beware of seller of these cartridges While I purchase printer cartridges from Amazon routinely - I don’t particularly pay attention to the 2nd party seller. This shipment of cartridges were installed 12/13/2021 - and read half full. I have no way to prove this - so realize I am ‘out of luckI’ on this purchase. For the 2nd party seller - I am more than disappointed
