nice packaging of ink not enough ink in each cartridge
Ordered Brother Genuine LC1033PKS received LC1013PKS Cheated. Received wrong order. Ordered Brother LC1033PKS received the LC1013PKS for order Aug. 19, 2018. Brother MFC J650 DW Printer displays on first few prints: "Printer is low on Ink" It works. However, the LC1013PKS is only for 300 pages not 600. I.e. This is like saying they are partially filled compared to ordered 1033.
Ink more expensive than liquid gold I see you ink on the other side of the clear window in the color cartridge, simply teasing me that you are still inside there but my Brother printer tells me you are out of ink and refuses to print. This is why printers are so cheap, because INK is SO expensive - per ounce - it costs more than Gold and 7x more expensive than fine glass of Dom Perignon. Defective cartridge and no way to return it I switched to "genuine brother" ink cartridges to help my printer work better. For 2 of 3 black cartridges I tried, it worked great! However, one of them must be defective - it would print 2-3 good pages and then would exhibit terrible quality until I cleaned the cartridge again - time consuming and would only last another 2-3 pages. Page Yield Up To 600 Pages/Cartridge - no Actually, the page yield never reaches 600 Pages/Cartridge as stated. I used for printing photo, it only yield about 150 as max.
Ink wasted trying to get colors to print After replacing all my color cartridges the new cartridges didn't print any color. I had to go into maintenance on my printer to test and retest and go through the process over and over again until it finally printed color. It works fine now but it wasted about 15 to 20 percent of all the cartridges which are not cheap.
Very Poor Print Yields Our Brother printer has worked well, no complaints about that. On the other hand, the ink cartridge yield is TERRIBLE. We can’t even go a year without having to replace the XL ink cartridges and this is after printing at most 100 pages of random text with very few pictures. Then, to make the printer useless when an ink cartridge gets low is FRUSTRATING especially when a homework assignment is due the next day. Works well Does the job
Whats the point if your printer refuse to print Dont know if its the printer or its the ink but Brother printers have gone downhill. I purchased a Brother printer for my parents in 2009 and after 9 years it is still going strong. So I got the J285DW for myself and it is literally a piece of sheet. Its problem after problem and after a few pages it will not print black ink even though it is full. I just purchased this ink 2 months ago.
