For this to be reputed to be the best steakhouse in Branson, it was a huge disappointment. Maybe because for me and my family steak is a common occurrence so we might have a different definition of “a great steak”. It was majorly over salted and the chef didn’t know the meaning of medium rare. When ordering we were told repeatedly that the sides were family sized and maybe we didn’t want to order so many. The server wasn’t attentive. Took forever to get refills for our drinks. The only redeeming thing about the restaurant wa... read more
Food was extremely below average and arrived cold at our table. Just because you charge a lot, doesn’t mean that it’s good. Eat out a lot with my wife and enjoy paying for GOOD food....this was NOT. Steak below average quality, no flavor. Had the 9 oz filet. Wife had 6 oz filet with the 3 sides, also average. Corn, Fries, mushrooms. I hope your drinks are better than your food. However, we don’t drink.
I was highly disappointed with this establishment. My lamb chops, although well seasoned, were not cooked very well and was super chewy. I mentioned it to the server and she proceeded to tell me that it gets that way when it's cooked differently. I also mentioned it to the manager who came around and she apologized and said she would mention it to the cook. They didn't even try to make another dish for me. They pretty much ruined my Anniversary dinner!
Soup and horse radish were awesome, among best I've ever had. Prime rib was below what I would expect for the hefty price. Same for the side dishes. Service was good and friendly. Overall sub par for a top tier restaurant.
I had been here before and had a great experience, but this visit was BAD! We were the only table in the restaurant for lunch, and the service was terrible. We ordered sides, they brought the meal and no sides stating "they do not come with sides", well we knew that and were willing to pay for them, so then my guests had to sit and wait for the sides to come out while their steak got cold. Not even an apology. They ran my credit card twice while paying the bill, and did not even refill our drinks. I will not be going there a... read more
It is extremely frustrating to make a reservation dats in advance and the restaurant not be open.
Filet was undercooked and both steaks were under seasoned. So with that being said overpriced for sure
This came as a recommendation from my mother in law. I thought the service was fair but not good considering we were the only table the waitress had. The food was very overpriced for the quality. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Well, I labored over a full review which all too soon, disappeared. I'm not going there again. Suffice it to say; Level 2 is an excellent addition to Open Table and to fine dining options in the Branson area, selections of which are quite limited. If you are after linens, good service, fine quality at acceptable prices, even if you aren't at a convention, give Level 2 a try. In this ilk (NOT an antlered beast of the mountains) you will be happy with the product.
