Dr. Nunez is OK, but the staff in general is incompetent, rude and stupid.
I had used levittown animal hospital for years, for my labrador Alf R.i.p. had him for 161/2 yrs. now I have a new furry friend Dempsey a boxer and Cooper the cat. When I purchased Dempsey the new owner of the above business not the same veterinarian that started Levittown animal hospital Dr.kaplin past away he's truly cared for animals not this new owner he cares about making money he SUCKS don't use him he should find a different profession !

Stay away from this trap! Your bill will be padded for high priced extras that you most likely don't even need. Paid $300-$400 for a routine check up, and didn't know the price of anything until checking out up front. I don't trust this place at all after that encounter. Rip Off!~
Bad practice, place is filthy and then you will find out that the follow up visit to see IF your pet is actually better after Rx that was prescribed is another $49 charge ( that was never mentioned ) yes its $49 more dollars for the 1 minute visual check to see if ear infection has actually cleared up .. And if its not, oh well you can pay to try something else .. No thanks !!! If youre not sick going in this place, you will be going out.
DO NOT GO TO THIS VET !!!!!! This place is dirty and the staff just wish to charge you as much as they can per visit & schedule as many visits as they can...I was charged $1000.00 for 2 dogs shots and one x-ray !!!! Additionally my dog (who only stays in my house) came down with kennel cough 7 days after being in this place....I called to ask them to see the dog for treatment. Beware! I have been using this vet for 6 years. You can't get out of this vet under $400 that is for a well visit. Emergency? They can see you next week. Then they want to do testing ranging 600-2000, but can not explain why and what they are ruling out. This is not the place to bring your loved pet. The doctors are nice but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. SO unhappy ...finding a new vet asap
I don't even know where to start, this is going to be a very rated G version of what I went through. I brought my brand new puppy to the office for it's 1st visit and have to say I was treated well. Two days later I brought my puppy in for an emergency and was told I would have to leave my puppy overnight for testing. This is a bit awkward: the hospital has not seen a parvo case like the one described recently so we're not sure if the reviewer is reviewing the correct business, though the hospital did see a similar parvo case in 2011 while under different ownership and with a different staff that might match this reviewer's identity. I started going here 2 years ago and I've given them a bunch of chances to redeem themselves, (hey, everyone is entitled to a bad day), but I always have the same experience and I'm changing vets today. I've worked in reception at several animal hospitals, and the first thing you learn is to smile and be helpful. I live in Levittown & was using Levittown Animal Hospital for my pets because it was so close to my home. I recently decided to try another vet but did not notify them because I was unsure.
