I have been to MANY veterinary hospitals on Long Island, and Levittown Animal Hospital is by far the best. First off, the prices are fair. Every other hospital I went to are just money hungry and are incredibly overpriced. Next, the veterinary technicians are beyond competent, they are the best at what they do. They really treat the animals with respect and legitmately enjoy the job they are doing and the animals they are working with. Lastly, the veterinarians. They legitimately CARE about you and your pet (which I have fou... read more
Seriously if you're unsure of where to bring your pet. Please give this place a try. These people really care about your pet. I felt like I was at a children's pediatrician but for dogs. Lol. Seriously though just from the first visit I saved hundred of dollars compared to other animal hospital I was recommended to first. They really know how to effectively figure out what's wrong with your pet and treat them cost effectively as well. They even send you a welcome card which is actually pretty cool and shows they care. So f... read more
I was given a recommendation by a coworker to see Dr. Dennis Leon for veterinary care for my beagle and pit. The office staff, techs and vet treated my girls with love and respect! Very attentive to my families questions (which can be a lot). Dr. Leon has done routine exams for my pups as well as more specialized dentistry procedures. He suggested only the necessary treatments. He has written numerous articles on canine dietary needs. He took the time to explain the anatomy of canine ear canals and demonstrated how to thor... read more
This vet used to be so good and attentive. I used to bring my cat years ago and now I bring my dog. When my dog was a baby, they were great. Helped us with learning what to do and gave tips. Our dog started to show signs of anxiety. We called the vet to get some advice on how to handle. We did classes, at home training, and medication. In the beginning, medication was working well and simple. We followed any orders given to us and asked what more we could do. Over the past year, this place has become a stress inducing mess... read more
Do not bring your dogs to this veterinarian. The doctors here do not care about animals, only the almighty dollar. Neglect on a small cyst turned into a rupture and emergency surgery for my dog. Please find a veterinarian that cares, this one ain't it.
It seems Dr Nunez is no longer with Levittown Animal Hospital. He had been our vet since shortly after he came to New York, and we followed him after he left Island Trees Veterinary Hospital. I find it deeply disturbing that we can't get a straight answer from anyone here about Dr Nunez' location and future plans...not just that we can't get a straight answer, but multiple answers that are obviously untrue. How can we trust you with our beloved pets when we are being lied to? I'd love to hear what you have to say. Until I do... read more

We sincerely apologize for any confusion. We wish we could give you the information you requested, but Dr. Nunez did not provide us with details on his future plans. We do wish him the best of luck.
did anyone notice that there are no responses to the bad reviews...they call you when you post a bad review and try to double talk and tell you that you didn't hear them properly and that you're wRong and they are right and they dent everything they say and do.. according to them i said something they said they found offensive ( which I did not) so when I asked what I said that was wrong the response was they didnt have to tell me.. because i never said In the meantime my cat is still sick 9 months after going there... read more
I am angered and saddened by the lack of care my one-year-old labradoodle received at Levittown Animal Hospital, which resulted in his death. I made an appointment to see Dr. Max Meltzer on 5/5/22 at 3:30 pm because my dog vomited 4x that morning. Our family suspected that he may have ingested a sock earlier in the week, so we opted to pay for an x-ray. The x-ray clearly showed an adult-sized sock in our dog's stomach. Instead of removing the foreign object themselves, referring us to an emergency room, or recommending the ... read more

A brand new pet owner shouldn't go to vet without any knowledge of what she or he is charged for. They just throwing things with fancy names so you won't know what that is and you might feel guilty because it's for your pet if you don't get it. I spent close to $300 at first visit. And when you try to return the un-used stuff, it takes 3-4 weeks to get a check refund.
