Excellent experience with PennyMac. Excellent staff, prompt and accurate responses.
Cristobal Garcia was excellent in helping us get started.Lydia Johnson on the other hand was not helpful at all. She would call me multiple times thinking I was different accounts. Called us in a panic the day before closing about some random document that needed to be filed and then when we called to confirm it’s delivery she had no idea what I was talking about and she mixed up our account with another.
Liem was WONDERFUL!! I would rather have documents requested twice and make sure they are received than not at all. He clearly communicated often with us which was GREATLY appreciated! Joshua Leatherman started the process and was fabulous as well. We had been with another company to start refinance and with NO progress. This was an efficient, clear and concise, process which was the best I have ever experienced!! Thank you so much for Liem and Joshua. they were the BEST!! Give them a raise!!!
The amount of time it took when I started the refi process was over 3 mos! I had to jump through hoops to close and felt forgotten at times. Liam however, was extremely helpful and kept me informed.
Please know I absolutely bragged about how easy, seamless, and customer-friendly my whole experience was when re-financing my home with PM, & working with Liem. I was informed from the beginning to expect updates, and I sure got them! I never had to wonder or worry that it wasn’t being worked on. Liem was very responsive to my multitude of questions, which I’m sure were basic to him, but he was always patient in answering them and made sure I understood and felt comfortable. Thank you, Liem!
The communication process was cumbersome. The closing date had to be rescheduled because paper work at your end. I was advised incorrectly that my Ex wife didn't need to be at closing. The process to 4 months. Ridiculous!
Liem was a pleasure to work with. He explained the process clearly and was very fast to respond to my emails and phone calls. He was on top of the whole process and I would work with him again.
