What awesome service provided by the entire team! My daughter's two pet mice were not feeling well and we brought them here on a Tuesday afternoon. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were very reasonable considering this is one of the few places in San Diego that will see exotic animals. Our visit was during the pandemic so check in and consultation was done right from our vehicle. I live about 30 minutes away but the entire experience was well worth the trip. This place is awesome!!! I went there expecting to pay hundreds for the treatment of my 10 year old Pug. Pleasant experience. The tech came out right away and within 5 minutes I got a call from the Vet telling me that he looked good and gave him his bordatella shot and some antibiotics. Super quick and friendly. Vet was very knowledgeable. Only thing is $62 table fee? 1/2 off for 1st time clients. I guess you get what you pay for!! We'll be back
We were one of many humans who got a puppy during the pandemic and were shocked to find that it was nearly impossible to find a vet. We did our initial exam and shots through Thrive Clinics and while we got everything done, it was very impersonal, succinct, and high-volume. Dr. De Souza and her staff have been very kind and considerate to our little Stella and her family. Everyone we've encountered, including our phone contacts, have taken the time to listen to us and be responsive. Thank you for being caring, especially in such busy times.
I took my baby girl Blossom here for her 3 mo old shots. I had gone to another vet a week prior and had an awful experience so decided to try this place out. I must say it was 10000X better then the other place I had gone to. The vet techs were polite and very friendly. It sucks having to wait in your car as they take your baby away but they called me up relatively fast. I am beyond blown away by the amazing care my dog has received at this office! My dog had an emergency during a grooming appointment and I was sent to Lifetime to get him treated as soon as possible. I had never been to this office before, but they were so accommodating and got him in quickly for an emergency appointment. This is during coronavirus, so I was not able to go in with my dog. This is our third dog we have taken to this Vet over many years. The staff is still friendly, but the philosophy of the establishment has become too dollar oriented. It used to be basic treatment for a common issue. Now there are always multiple tests pushed by the Vet or Tech. Last visit the estimate was for over $500 to get our dog treated for an ear infection (generic drops cleared it up). Unfortunately, we are now shopping for another provider.
Where would we be without very intelligent, talented, caring people like Dr. D'Souza, Dr. Hardy and all of their staff at Lifetime Animal Care Center? We have utilized their veterinary services for many years and through many pets. They are the only vets we would trust with our pets. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. So we had been taking our cats to Lifetime for many years with Dr Cole as our go to guy and had an excellent experience with the friendly staff and Dr Cole's expertise was second to none. He did an amazing job removing a lump from our cat Suki's lip which can be a very tricky area. Unfortunately Dr Cole ended up leaving the practice to go out on his own during the Covid-19 pandemic and we wanted to keep him as our Vet. Luckily he was very easy to find on Google and Facebook.
