I have been an animal advocate for over 10 years and ran a dachshund rescue. Educating adopters/owners on quality health care for their dachshunds was part of our program. I needed a good quality vet, close to home, that would actually LISTEN to me and treat me like a partner/advocate for my dogs. Our 17-year-old terrier had a nasty abscessed tooth that was leaving him in a lot of pain. As you can imagine, we were very nervous about our senior dog being operated on. The vet walked us through all of the tests to ensure our dog was in good condition for surgery. Our dog passed the tests with flying colors and we opted to have the tooth extracted. Dr. Sondhi and the staff at Lifetime are everything we could want in a vet. We are on our third dog with them (2 labs and now our Swissy). The care is effective, professional and responsive to our needs. Dr. Sondhi is patient with our never ending list of questions and always available when we need to talk with him. And when our Swissy was recovering from an artificial hip procedure, she received a get-well card in the mail. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Sondhi and the folks at Lifetime.

We take both of our dogs to Lifetime Animal Care and have always been happy with the care they receive. We especially like Dr. Hardy and try to see him during all of our visits. He is very knowledgeable and caring and you can tell that he truly cares about all of his animal patients. Our youngest dog is still a bit nervous when visiting the vet and Dr. Hardy and all of the vet techs are very caring and encouraging with him. My cats are my babies and I am so picky about the people I bring them to. Lifetime has been my go to for them and they didn't disappoint. My kitty is suspected to have a disease that's incurable and has just about a 100% fatality rate, and the vet did an absolutely wonderful job consoling me, informing me about the disease, and without sugar coating or trying to make me purchase more services. I've gone to other vets in San Diego and Lifetime is my favorite. All thise wasted years going to other vets. They're friendly, helpfull, informative. I joined their PAWS Plan and next time I had an appointment they had my dog's name on a "welcome PAWS Plan animals" board. :) I wish I could get medical care this solid and personable.

I was able to great a same-day appointment for my cat who didn't seem to be feeling well. Dr. Michelle Donald and her assistant, Gaby, were so wonderful and caring. Everyone I encountered in the clinic was too. If you're looking for premium pet care, this is the place!

I'm kind of a "go-to-the-doctor-only-when-broken,-bleeding,-or-death-is-imminent" sort of gal, and my two teenage dogs, although they do get more medical care than I are somewhat held to that standard. It comes down to trust. In the Midwest where I'm from, people have to build solid relationships with their patients because in small towns, reputation really follows you.
