Came here for lunch and was such a great place and fun ambiance. We were seated right away and the staff were all friendly. We sat inside and it was very chill and they had TV's and the bar inside but more quiet atmosphere. They had outside seating as well but was a bit on the Hot side. Sitting on the outdoor patio at LOCAL Public Eatery Gastown on a sunny day was peaceful and happy. We were welcomed by the host with a warm smile, and we even got to watch two cute dogs relaxing with their owners at a nearby table. The food was great! Wings were fire and burgers were tasty! The Caesar salad had a ton of flavor. The prices were reasonable. The servers were all friendly. We will definitely go back.

Stopped by for brunch and to watch the World Cup match. Service was pretty good for being so busy. I got the eggs benny and it was not bad. On the smaller side with the eggs on a single slice of toast, but the potatoes were very good.

Food very good but they ran out of apples for the dessert we ordered. We waited a long time before they told us and substituted a different dessert and took the dessert cost off the bill

We ended up eating at Local during our trip to Vancouver. We had been walking around and decided to try it after glancing at the menu. Our waitress was great and made good recommendations. The pork lettuce wraps were amazing! Very casual hangout spot in Gastown.

Stopped by on a Sunday and had a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, with plenty of seating available. Parking in front is limited, but there are nearby spots within walking distance. This place is great. It's loud and noisy but it's a fun upbeat environment. There is outdoor seating. They even have rain guards and heaters for those rainy days. They had hockey and basketball games on. Full bar. Lots of drink options. The food was delicious. Not one compliant. The Sriracha chicken was spicy but that's exactly what we wanted. The service was amazing. She was on it and answered allll our questions and was so sweet and kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
