I was looking for a breakfast/brunch spot for Mother’s Day. Looked at the menu on the web site. Saw a fabulous menu reasonably priced. No where did it say anything about a special pre fixed Mother’s Day menu. Arrive only to find that there was a buffet for $65/ person. None of us wanted that and if I wanted to sleep d that kind of money I would have made a reservation elsewhere. Unfortunately we did not have a choice but to stay as every place was booked. We went for Mother’s Day. We had called twice prior to coming for Mother’s Day and they had told us that we could order off the menu or do the buffet. When we arrived they only had the buffet available and it was not worth $65 per person. Very unsatisfied and disappointed. Hoping to get some sort of refund.
Poor service, even after mentioning to hostess no one had come to our table! When we got service, server said, “I did not see you guys”
Had to wait 10 mins for our table despite having a reservation. Didn’t get brought water/ introduced to waiter for another 10 mins after being seated. Drinks took another 10 mins to come. Food was good.
Came here for restaurant week and was sadly disappointed. Drinks were expensive and just okay. Main course option was filet mignon but they ran out and offered us sirloin instead - should’ve switched our choices all together. Our table did not enjoy the chicken option either. The desserts were quite good but couldn’t make up for a mediocre main course.
Overall, bad experience from the start. The hostess was not particularly friendly and had an attitude. From there we were sat once the rest of my party arrived and sat for at least 10-15 minutes. We were greeted only when I got a server’s attention and asked if he knew who was taking care of us tonight. He was very nice and took care of us. Eggs Benedict was overcooked. Omelette vegetables were undercooked. Sides were mediocre.
Flavors of ahi tuna on kale, apple salad entre didn't really work well together. Chicken entree good and enough for 2. Gelato dessert would also be enough for 2, or more. Quantity does not equal quality. Noise was modest at an early hour but would likely be too loud during crowded times given lack of sound absorption anywhere, including ceiling.
Delicious food, but the service was very slow (we ended up waiting over an hour after our food was done for the check)
