I went for the first time today because I wasn't happy with my color from my usual stylist. The staff was nice, on time and didn't really try to sell me anything extra but I opted for extra conditioner during my shampoo. I think they nailed the color. That being said it wasn't less expensive than my other hair stylist options especially without a blow dry. There was NO massage during my shampoo which they advertise. I love this place !!! I will never do my roots at home again. All the colorists are wonderful and the manager is beyond nice and helpful!!

I have been coloring my hair from the start of pandemic lockdown, this brand makes home coloring easy, so many color choices that can blend in so many shades. I especially love it doesn't smell so bad nor give tingly scalp sensation so I feel better using it even when my kid is around. I am so used to coloring my own hair now, I save more time and money and now they open this shop so I can quickly grab my next kit without paying for shipping. I came to Madison Reed because I wanted my roots done and either a highlight retouch or to add a few new highlights. Instead of evaluating my hair and recommending the best option, the colorist kept asking me what I wanted and didn't seem to know what to do. She repeatedly left to ask another employee, and then the manager came over. Initially, I was told there wasn't enough time for highlights, which I understood. This was my third time at this location. Stylist was stand off. Didn't confirm the color, didn't offer any drinks. She put my color and sat on her phone the rest of the time. They forgot about me after 45 min so I had to tell them. Washed my hair and found that my hair at the back is still grey, my face is stained badly because I was left and the stylist that did my hair was not considerate. Will try another location next time. And by the way, I have the membership

I went for my regular touchup and last visit they had added some highlights and I loved it. When I went back for highlight and root touch up my hair was completely damaged. It was the wrong color and my highlights were horrible I had to go to a colorist to correct the color. They were shocked to see how bad the highlights were. I cancelled my membership after my second go with them.

i had high hopes at the Maddison Reed color bar. The lady colored my hair was friendly. After shampooed my hair, half of the top of my cadigan was soaked. i asked her to blow dry my cloth. The styling was no good. After I got home, I restyled my hair with the rollers (that is how I style my hair after shampoo at home). Then, I noticed that there are color on my forehead, on side of my face, and the back of my head (it was not rinse off well enough). very disappointed! It was my first time at a Madison reed location. I went in for full color and blow out. I let my hair stylist know that I hadn't dyed hair in like 15 years. I let her know I would like some red for spring/summer. My hair is a very dark black. She recommended the color and I asked will the color actually grab since my hair is so dark. She said it would. this was the worst experience I've ever had at any business. They are unorganized, kept me waiting to finish the blow dry. I waited 45 minutes for the person that started the blow dry. I could not wait any longer. The person that cashed me out yelled at me and said thete was nothing she could do. I tried to calm her down by saying shhh, she went crazy. Never go there. They have no idea what thete doing. The location is The Tustin market place.
