We stopped by at Maggie's for lunch and I was not disappointed! The food was great and it came out just on time. We first had the dim sum as an appetizer and I shared the Maggies Famous Shellfish Pot which was amazing! The drinks were okay. Customer service was also great.
Took my dad here for his 86th birthday. He was very tickled when he ordered his dessert & they reversed the candles to 68 instead of 86. whether it was onpurpose or not he got a big kick out of it. Had kind of a strange server. She seemed nonplussed over everything. Love-hate relationship with this place. Overall I feel like I get taken in by their large and varied menu, and by the fact that they are open late which is when I prefer to eat. But I almost always feel like I overpaid for mediocre food priced as if it is fresh and quality-prepared. Just had a "pilgrim", a thanksgiving style sandwich. But the turkey was not freshly baked (maybe on Monday for my Friday sandwich. Don't think it tasted leftover for a thanksgiving effect.) Great lunch here today! Good food and service was great. Have had good and bad experience here but today was one of the good ones! Wish it was more consistent!! Their Thai chicken salad is one of my favorite dishes and one I come back to over and over ... same with garlic chicken pasta for my daughter ... their breakfast burger was cooked a perfect medium too!

It's been years since I'd gone to Maggie McFlys in Middlebury but after hearing good things from family, I had to give it another try. It was a Sunday evening and the place was packed. We were able to hang out in thr bar until our table was ready. The host & wait staff were very courteous and accommodating. I love restaurants that's advertise they support local farms, everything from meats to cheeses and even their deserts. Maggie mcflys has always had such an extensive menu . Something I've never been quit fond or understood. After page five, you're so confused and lucky you! if you're even completely satisfied with your meals. I really thought the bartender was great and food really good! I got the Turkey Thanksgiving sandwich and was delicious! My boyfriend the Cuban and he liked. The soups great too french onion and butternut squash! A really cozy environment as well.

The ramen was unexpected and amazing! This is a worthy pit stop for the traveler dissolutioned by Waterbury proper... this is a true oasis! Thank you! The menu was so large, it was hard to choose, but this ramen surprised and impressed. Everything else I saw served looked amazing as well...
