I would recommend... (Verified Renter) I would recommend this apartment. However there are three caviates to that. The first being I had a serious issue with the number of street lights on at night. It made sleeping a serious issue, and primary reason i left. Layout of certain apartments(mayfare) didn't make a whole lot of sense, and ended up putting neighboring apartment master rooms next to each other. Third rent fluctuations can cause some distress. Awful Honestly the worst experience ever. Leasing office is lazy and not helpful at all and don't return your phone calls. Takes 2 months for maintenance to show up. They left someone else's washer and dryer in my apartmentor for 3 weeks when I moved in even though they told me someone would come in 48 hrs. We live on the second floor and the stairs are falling apart. Called several times to have them fix it and it's been 10 months and still nothing. Want a better service? find another place.. this management is horrible If you are looking for an apartment, STAY AWAY from Mallard Crossing! 1. Leasing office staff’s are terrible. They are very rude. 2. If you write them an Email, don't expect them to reply. 3. If you call, they won't answer. Even if they answer, don’t expect a hostile response. 4. It took forever to get maintenance done. They give lame excuses when followed up. 5. Geese poo and dog poo is everywhere. I cannot stand it anymore. I want out of here!!!
Service calls have... (Verified Renter) Service calls have been unsuccessful. There is a big piece of aluminum facing hanging from the eave on my building. This has been this way for months.
Property aging and... (Verified Renter) Property aging and needs some major repairs. Outside steps need to be repaired/replaced. Gutters need fixing.
The lighting outside... (Verified Renter) The lighting outside the apartment is really disruptive, but over all for house its livable. The way the apartment is laid out is really wasteful on the floor space. It could have been done in a significantly more efficient manner

mallard crossing... not! We viewed several units, applied for apt, left a check for deposit... Which was to be returned if we were not approved. They cashed the cheek, and we've been waiting for over 3 weeks for a refund. Every time I call, it's the same run around... Check is in the mail. We were able to get a much bigger apt in a community with far better amenities. It blows this place out of the water! Poor management Very sneaky and horrible practice. The new manager as of July 2015 is horrible! I hate how Corperate they run everything.. The office around October 2014 was awesome! We totally forgot to pay a utility bill one month (we're human and been planning a wedding) they left a note on the door, we go drop of the check and we are thinking no harm done. Apparently they "never got it" and two months later we have an outstanding balance of over 350 dollars over a 40 dollar bill. They will honestly don't care about the r... read more
