I would honestly... (Verified Renter) I would honestly say it needs a little touching up. For example get all the street lamps working. It's too dark in these parking lots. Alot of these cable / electric boxes are open or leaning, not straight up. Some of the cement curbs are broken in peices. Just a few small things can make this place look alot better. We need a Community clean up day. People could also help the looks by not putting all there junk on the patios .

I think the... (Verified Renter) I think the rent for Washer and Dryer is too high. All other Apartments offer for 30 or 40. At Mallard crossing I am paying 60 for it which is too expensive.

It seems as... (Verified Renter) It seems as though the security deposits never go back to the resident - they go towards the cost of refinishing 'normal wear & tear' like carpet cleaning, painting, etc? the apartment I moved out of was VERY, VERY clean; I understand the TV wall mount repair, but nothing else. It is just not right; but, I still love where I live; but not totally sure about recommending it to people I know.

Great place to... (Verified Renter) Great place to leave. Pretty upset that you don't get your deposit back and the carpet cleaning that you have to pay even if the carpet looks amazing. At least tell us that when we sign the lease.

The outside stairs... (Verified Renter) The outside stairs do not look nice. Some of the landscaping does not look well kept/old. Several patios are "junked" up

This has been an on going project for Mallard Crossing for three years now. As for the landscaping it is always a challenge during the winter months. Maintenance should improve... (Verified Renter) Maintenance should improve a lot.. The stairs are all broken and no cleaning on the floors or door front.
For the money I'd look elsewhere..... There are pros and cons to this place just like everywhere else. Pros: 1) Multiple apartment layouts to choose from 2) Nice pool 3) Excellent location and school district Cons: 1) Delayed structural maintenance/potential dangers - the steps to many buildings are falling apart and are dangerous. 2) There is a fee for everything - your utilities bill each month has a $5 fee for "bill preparation".
